Isabella Joy Thallas Foundation Scholarship in partnership with Factory Fashion Denver

Scholarship recipients take classes at Factory Fashion, where they work in small groups and collaborate to learn fashion design and construction. As part of the program, students complete runway-ready garments, attend the Denver Fashion Week Youth & Teen Couture show, and participate backstage.

We give back to our community in unique ways

We donated art supplies to The New Local in Boulder, a non-profit organization that supports local female artists. We chose to support this non-profit because they empower female artists, and spread joy in Boulder.

Random Acts of Kindness

We aim to keep her memory alive by sharing her love, light, and story with the world. We honor Bella, not just as a memory, but as a movement.

Our foundation aims to challenge the stigma around mental health and promote emotional well-being by providing accessible resources and normalizing diverse approaches to mental health. This is achieved through random acts of kindness and community events focused on mental health.

We established the Bella Joy Memorial Park and keep it maintained with fresh paint and flowers.

We handed out 1,000 "Roses for Joy" in March 2024 in downtown Denver as a random act of kindness.

We created original art with artist Mr. Depalakua for the 2nd Annual Bella Joy Fashion Show auction.

We practiced healing through smashing in a mental health workshop at E-Motion Experience.
